Peninsula Ambulance

Our Mission:

Recognizing the changing needs of the community, the Peninsula Ambulance Corps is dedicated to providing the highest quality ambulance and related health care services to the residents of Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Penobscot, Sedgwick, and Surry, Maine, as well as the larger EMS community.

VOTE FOR PAC!

As strong supporters of Peninsula Ambulance Corps (PAC), we hope you will join us in helping PAC win a grant of $5,000 from Bangor Savings Bank's COMMUNITY MATTERS MORE program.

Initiated in 2007, the program awards a total of $100,000 to 68 nonprofit organizations throughout Maine--the 48 listed on the ballot and the top 20 write-ins-as determined by Maine voters. The top vote-getting organizations in each region receive $5,000 each. The remaining 60 organizations receive $1,000 each. All Maine residents (property taxpayers) may vote by paper ballot or on line for up to three nonprofits.

PAC was selected this year by the Castine branch of Bangor Savings Bank to be on the ballot in the Hancock/Washington region. PAC has operated continuously on the greater Blue Hill Peninsula for over 45 years and its primary service area now covers the towns of Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Penobscot, Sedgwick and Surry for calls ranging from traumatic accidents to routine medical transfers. A vote for PAC is a vote to recognize the dedication of our staff of 6 full-time and 20 part-time Paramedics and EMTs and the much-needed service they provide to our citizens every day and night of the year.

Voting this year is from February 1st through February 28th. You can vote by going to the Bangor Savings Bank Community Matters More Website or by visiting a Bangor Savings Bank location near you. You may vote for three nonprofits in Maine; we ask that we be one of the three you vote for and the only one in the Hancock-Washington region.
